Descending from a Spanish family, I lived in Caracas until my fourteen-ish when my family moved to Buenos Aires. I have a Degree on Foreign Trade and always worked in something related to finance, guaranties, banks, and so on (check out my linkedin profile for that part of the story).

So, what about photography? Well, I was always into photagraphy. In fact, when I was young I spent days and nights playing with my father's analog Kodak. But didn't think about it thoroughly until 2016 when I bought my first good camera (It was a Sony a6000, loved it!).

​

When I finally had it in my hands was like... "Ok! Now... this photos are like my iphone ones!"... so rookie... Then I started to study photography... learned about light and light and light... about exposure, composition, colours, white balance (so important! not only in camera, but also in post production when retouching different areas of a night photo. Beard in mind that different light sources will produce different white balances. So one part of the photo may be good balanced whilst the other is not), gear, lenses, etc. At the end, the photos I took with my a6000 were nothing like my iphones ones.

In the process I fell in love with street photography and portraits. The first one because taking street photos (also - even more - in weddings and events) takes good skills to avoid missing a photo for wrong exposure or slow shutter speed, so it is fun. Also street photography allows you to create art from what surrounds you (please take a look at masters such as Winogrand, Dorothea Maier, Leiter, Bresone, and so on). And portraits becouse of Platon... take the essence of a person in a portrait as he does is art.

Besides the action of taking photos itself, I love retouching and creating in post production, it is one of my main values and defines me as a photographer. You can see my work in my section "Before and After".

In 2018 I was one of the ten finalists of the Student Focus within the Sony World Photography Awards. It was an incredible experience that you can read more about by clicking here.

Nowadays, I live in Barcelona. I am a Getty Images and Shutterstock colaborator. My main work are artistic landscape and cityscape photos.  Also, I work taking series and portraits to profesionals, store owners, workers and so on. Whether for their websites, for editorial or other purpose. The idea is always the same, reach the essences without forgetting of the context.
